Ghana Forward Ben Bentil has won the Greek A 1 Basketball League for the second season in a row thanks to Panathinaikos Basketball Club’s latest triumph.

The Athens based club topped Lavrio 82-66 in Game 4 of the Finals Series with the result giving Panathinaikos a 3-1 lead in the best of five game series. (Click highlighted text to watch game game highlights)

In Game 4, Bentil came off the bench and produced six points, six rebounds and an assist in 16 minutes with three rebounds coming on the offensive side of the court.

Ioannis Papapetrou and Konstantinos Mitoglou led Panthinaikos with 24 and 23 points respectively; after scoring all eight free throws in the previous game, Bentil missed all three attempts from the charity stripe in Game 4.

The league title win means Bentil’s second season with the team ends with a double after Panathinaikos bagged the Greek Cup earlier in the campaign.
