Basketballghana.com can report the University of Ghana (UG) Campus Main Basketball Court will host the Iungo Basketball Camp. The program is set to commence on Saturday, March 19 at 8:00 GMT.

Iungo World is a sports platform that promotes athletes career opportunities for athletes via social media platforms. The platform’s visit to Ghana is to “promote grassroots basketball programs and help athletes from Ghana” connect to the world via its platforms.

Johnson in action for Kazakhstan

Tomorrow’s Basketball Camp will be led by former American-naturalized Kazakhstani Guard Jerry Johnson who played 13 professional seasons as a Point Guard/ Shooting Guard.

Former Rider University player Johnson played three seasons with Spirou Charleroi in Belgium and four and a half seasons with Kazakh side Astana in his career. He won three Belgium League titles.

The one day camp will teach participants in core strength and conditioning exercises, finishing skills around the rim, floor spacing, reading defenses and building mental toughness.

Players from DUNK Academy, Icons Basketball Academy, Charm Basketball Academy, Galaxy Basketball Academy and University of Ghana have been listed to participate in the program.

The training program will touch base in Takoradi, Kumasi, Cape Coast and Tamale  and end on March 28.
