Basketballghana.com gathers Icons Basketball Academy has headlined a basketball clinic in Ghana’s Volta Regional capital, Ho with the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II Team playing an active role in the one day event ahead of the start of the Volta Basketball League.

Icons Coach Ocloo at the Clinic

The Clinic was run in partnership with Kids Ball Club and with support from the National Sports Authority (NSA) regional branch and the Volta Basketball Association (VOBBA) per information reaching Ghana’s leading basketball portal.

Oppong Kyekyeku

Icons Head Coach James Ocloo and Basketball Administrator Oppong Kyekyeku were present at the Clinic that had about 30 young individuals participate.

The Clinic is in line with plans to establish a basketball clinic in Ho in the immediate future to aid the development of basketball in the regional capital and neighbouring towns.

The Volta Basketball League is scheduled to tip off on Saturday, April 30 at the Akatsi Main Court at 13:00 GMT. The opening game has Akatsi Rifles up against Aftown Flames.
