Cournooh is with Serie A side Vanoli Cremona after joining the team prior to the start of the 2020-2021 season from Virtus Bologna. However, with 2021-2022 Regular Season winding down and CREMONA set to drop to Serie A2, Cournooh has committed his future to Scafati.

Cremona ranks bottom of the 16 team Serie A standings with seven wins and 21 losses; the team plays sixth ranked Sassari on Sunday, May 1 in its next league outing.

In 28 games played in the league, 31 year old Cournooh has averaged 11.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists and is often assigned top defensive duties.
