Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghanaian Forward Joshua Kwame Awuah Oduro has withdrawn his name from the 2022 NBA Draft and will return to George Mason University to play out his fourth year in US Men’s College Basketball.

The announcement was communicated recently Augusta Free Press and the 6 foot 9 inch Forward will compete for George Mason in his Senior Year.

Oduro averaged 17.7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 31.6 minutes across 27 games in a standout third year outing before declaring for this year’s Draft and entered the Draft’s Evaluation Process.

Picking up feedback from NBA Scouts and General Managers, the versatile Forward has decided to enhance his chances of making it to the NBA next season by going back to George Mason.

Oduro averaged 1.7 blocks and 1.1 steals per game last season showing hints of defensive upside to his game. He has improved on his numbers every season after averaging 4.9 points in his first year to average 10 points and 6 rebounds in his second year.
