Basketballgahan.com can confirm the 2022 California Classic Summer League in the NBA has come to an end with Golden State Warriors failing to register a win.
The Warriors team lost all three games played against Miami Heat, Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Lakers; the tournament is a preseason competition in the NBA that fields teams made up of first year players and players from the NBA Gatorade League (G-League).
Ghanaian born American Center Selom Mawugbe featured for Golden State Warriors in two games; he didn’t compete in the 70-94 loss to Miami in Game 3.
Prior to his absence, the 6 foot 10 inch defender had difficulty staying out of foul trouble as he registered five fouls in losses to Sacramento and the Lakers respectively.
He scored a one point in both games and registered a combined four turnovers across both games; he gathered four rebounds against Sacramento and led the Warriors in rebounds gathered (6) against the Lakers. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)
