After concluding its run in the 2022 Tournoi International Basketball Tournament, Spintex Knights Basketball Club has been named the Best Performing Team of the Tournament Basketballghana.com can confirm.
The team ended the competition with a record of two wins and a loss after beating Africa Sports Club 76-57 at the Palais des sports Treichville in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)
Knights concluded the tournament in third place and for the team’s run of spirited performances in the eight team competition, Knights was named the Best Performing Team.
This year’s Tournoi International commenced on July 18 and ended on July 24 with eight teams participating in the tournament that had teams drawn from West African nations including Benin and Nigeria.
Kwara Falcons represented Nigeria and ASPAC represented Benin while Knights represented Ghana and is due to arrive in the country later today.
Knights participation and performance in the Tournoi International has had a ton of plaudits thrown in the direction of the team. Spintex is in the running to win the Accra Basketball League Men’s Division II and Tema Community Basketball League titles.
