AMASS in action against Islamic School (green)
KGEE (white) beat Louis in the semifinal

Two time Sprite Ball winners T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School is in line to win a third regional title in the Ashanti Region qualifiers.

The team beat Islamic Senior High School 4-2 in the first of two semifinal games set to be honored at the Opoku Ware School.

The low scoring game was characterized with a host of missed shots from all over the court including open looks at the rim.

Shooting from the charity stripe didn’t help either with the ladies from both spurning chances from free throw land.

However, the two time national champions had just enough power to see the game out and return to the finals.

T.I. AMASS did not appear at the main finals in Ghana’s capital, Accra following successful years in 2014 and 2015.

Reigning Queens Kumasi Girls High School are set to play St. Louis Senior High in the final semifinal game. Kumasi Girls won silver in last year’s event falling to Wesley Girls High School.
