Basketballghana.com can confirm the Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) has struck a deal with social sports platform Iungo World in its efforts to enhance coverage of basketball in Ghana. This is according to an official Press Release issued.

A signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the parties sealed the partnership that is highlighted by the launch of the Iungo World App that takes aim at exposing the work of basketball players, coaches and administrators to a worldwide audience.

The deal was signed during Iungo World’s Tour of Ghana a few weeks back that had basketball camps organized at several locations in the West African nation.

GBBA President Ato Van-Ess led the basketball authority entourage and former American pro basketball player Jerry Johnson led the Iungo World delegation at the time of signing.

Per wording in the Press Release, the “Global Sports Technology” App from Iungo is the first in Africa and will aid change in perception and consumption of basketball in Ghana.
